Introduction

First post :

Why I named my blog The Spirit of Java ? It is the other name of my hometown, Solo. One city in Central Java, Indonesia. Not so big, but not small either. It's a growing city. More and more new buildings, malls, shopping centers, offices are built here.

Solo is well-known of its unique culture. Strong and deep Javanese culture is centered here. With all the cultural components, Solo charms visitors and outsiders to come again and again. Beside Jogja, here is the place where you can see directly and experience the daily life of Javanese culture.
With 'wayang kulit' ( shadow puppet ), 'wayang orang' ( Javanese theater ), batik, dances, even the life philosophy.

I will not only talk about Solo in this blog. But all the things that interest me, things that rooted from Javanese mind. There will be common stories as well, included my life experience so far.
